HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jaxson Flint! (Mar.11)

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

As a few of you know, I was diagnosed with pelvic symphyosis disorder just after Christmas. Thanks to Mayson, Sand and a wonderful bodyworker, I have managed to stay off crutches. I'm still in a lot of pain, but I can get around slowly when I need too. Now I have gotten gestational diabetes. So I really have to watch my sugar intake. The whole family has gotten on board and they have really become aware of how much sugar is in everyday things like bread. And because I am unable to excersise, I cannot stablize my blood sugar, so I am more tired than normal. Mayson has started a cute Charity countdown on my blackboard and I must say, it's nice to start counting down the days! Despite everything, we feel this is truly a blessing, I have learned a lot about my body, I've learned to let go and let people help me and I've learned to keep a positive attitude, despite how utterly frustrated I get when I cannot do things I love. Sand and I feel truly blessed be have been given the opportunity to raise another beautiful child and can't wait to see what our future holds!
