Away they go!! Tyreed had the awesome opportunity to travel to Quebec City for 8 days with his class. He got to fly on an airplane for his first time, he love it! They got to explore the heritage of the city, it has beautiful buildings. They had a lot of fun, made new friends and created memories that will last a lifetime!

Bonnehomme - this is the carnival mascot. Every year in February, Quebec does a Carnival, a huge winter party. They carve ice and snow sculptures, have a big parade and do fun games. The teachers here do if for the kids at their school every year, but what fun to be at a real carnival in Quebec!

They had the awesome opportunity to drive sled-dog teams! Here Tyreed is pictured with his 'buddy' Emile, he stayed with Emile's family while in Quebec. This was definitely the highlight of the trip for Ty.

Quebec folks love to pour maple syrup in snow, they take Popsicle sticks and roll the maple and then eat it!

Team Strategy

Mayson had her second basketball tournament this past weekend, and it was here at home, even more exciting. She had a fun weekend, the moms served a spaghetti lunch the one day and the final game was exciting!

Their first gold trophy! The final game was so good! The team they played were mostly 9th graders, so it was a challenge. They won the game by 2 baskets...that they scored in the last minute!

Charity is obsessed with the cat, if she can get her, she will, and now that she's crawling, Muff is not safe! Yes, she's crawling, it's an army crawl, she puts her arms out in front of her, locks her hands and pulls! The other night during family circle, Charity was sitting in my lap, Muff decided to take a stroll threw... bad idea. Charity totally slow motion lifted her cute little hands in the air and BAM! pounced on Muff. I guess she'll watch where she's strollin' from now on!

The boys had their first ski races the weekend before last. It was a fun day, they were split into teams, Tyreed was on the Green Team and Jaxson the Red Team. They did tons of fun team events. At the end of the day, Tyreeds team placed 2nd and Jaxson's 4th.
